Run club tonight and a teeny but of frustration. I had planned on a 10k. Start time is meant to be 6.30 for briefing (as there’s always news to share etc), then we jog from Nike store down to Embankment where we go through some warm up stuff and then we split into 3 groups (5k, 7k and 10k). However it seems that we start later and later each week and don’t get started with the run bit until 7 or even later. Now the issue is the store closes at 8pm and there is no way I was getting a comfortable 10k done in time. So I had to settle for the 7k. I know I shouldn’t moan but seriously – show up on time people!!

So the run? I especially loved the woman who decided out of all those walking around Covent Garden that it was a better idea to grab the arm of the passing runner to ask where The Lion King is being shown!! Then my battery died after 6k so I get no credit for the final k on my tracker!
